STRUCTURE & FORMAT - ADULT MARTIAL ARTS CLASS
Choi Kwang Do is structured around nine syllabus components designed to develop skill, coordination, and long-term health. Each Adult Martial Arts class begins with reciting the Pledge and Principles, followed by a short “silent sit” (Mukyum) to prepare the mind for focused training.
Classes then move into a thorough warm-up to reduce injury risk before progressing to technical drills. Training includes hand and foot techniques, patterns, offence drills (PACE training), controlled impact work, and fitness development, finishing with a cool down.
